We have lots of bamboo growing on our property here in our community. But we need someone who knows how to harvest, treat, and use it properly. We’d love to fence off the property to keep hogs, wild dogs, and other animals out of our gardens (which we hope to grow and establish). This land has so much potential, and we lack younger hands and stronger backs to maintain it.
Our property climbs the mountain, has flat areas, and some parts, like the picture to the left, where staggered bamboo would work well.
When I moved here in 1997, everything was green and growing in gardens with flowers, fruits, vegetables, spices, and more. There’s nothing quite as remarkable as eating off the land, especially in the topics. The food tastes fantastic, and I’m confident it’s far healthier than anything in the store.
